Stored items being marked as stolen Posted: 01 Aug 2020 01:04 AM PDT Relatively new player here. I decided to store a bunch of items in an empty Fighter's Guild crate. The game didn't teach me that this would result in them being marked as Fighter's Guild property and now I can't take anything back without causing a shit-storm. I didn't expect this, so I don't have any convenient save slots to load to and I've tried turning invisible + sneaking but they're still able to notice. Is there any way to get around this at all? (cheats are acceptable) [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Aug 2020 12:25 AM PDT Ald Daedroth and the wise woman of Ahemussa deserve a special place in hell. I mean, seriously? You have to swim north to a daedric ruin avoiding or taking out no small amount of dreugh and slaughterfish, glitch-hop force yourself over a hill (depending on your approach) just to get onto dry land, and then you get immediately attacked by two greater bonewalker summoning enemies who drop everything but restore strength potions. And assuming you either have RS potions or managed to have the mats to create them, you still have a daedric ruin to clear out after that. The fights are thankfully trivial for the most part due to enemy in-fighting, but the spell arsenal of the guys you do have to fight 1-on-1, sometimes 2 or 3-on-1, are pretty damn ridiculous. I would have been dead as hell had I not had that random paralyze dispel potion I picked up from god knows when or where. And the fights weren't even the worst part. The worst part was having to swim to and from that island AT LEAST three times, assuming you never had to make a run to a temple or potion seller to get rid of the bonewalker strength debuff, and assuming you didn't forget to bring a teleport scroll with you for after the escort part of the quest is complete. And if you don't have a scroll, then best of luck to you, because you're in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, and the nearest shop is ten miles southeast and another swim away. The quest's difficulty is utterly artificial and straight up malignant in design. I already had a sense that the ashlander camp quests were constructed for some quick 'collect the dragon balls' filler, but this one takes the whole ass cake. [link] [comments]

Morrowind not registering certain keys Posted: 01 Aug 2020 12:03 AM PDT After a recent crash, Morrowind wont recognize when certain keys are being pressed, so far at the moment I cant attack, nor interact with people as the game fails to register the key presses. Im not sure whats causing, I looked all over and I've seen certain keyboard bugs but no real solution apart from enabling background keyboard. Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Jul 2020 05:39 PM PDT I'm currently level 8 and my progress to next level is 94/10. I feel like I can't sleep to regen magicka because I don't want to level up like crazy. I'm on PC so I can console command or mod it away if that's possible. [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Jul 2020 02:03 PM PDT Hi folk, I'm new at modding (probably the last person on earth but oh well). I have this vanilla morrowind. Spend the day before yesterday downloading, unzipping and copying over the Data folder all those plugins and mods on the internet. Then I broke something yesterday, now mw starts complaining about warnings then the mouse hangs. Apparently I copied something wrong. But yesterday morning it did work great, beautiful water, beautiful faces.. Most mods require the full goty, but I think you can have great effects with the vanilla version as well. Question: Is there someone that has successfully upgraded vanilla morrowind? What mods and what order specifically should I install? (before people start saying get goty and shut up about vanilla, i do plan to get it when it's cheaper soon. But vanilla is the core game.) [link] [comments] |
