    First time in Morrowind.

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 02:20 PM PDT

Not so long ago I've started my first ever Morrowind playthrough. Hearing from a friend what Morrowind is like I expect a year long playthrough and so I've spend few days reading wiki to make sure that I know what I'm doing, I've also spend at least a day planning which house to join and how should I create my character. So far I'm enjoying the game, and with my knowledge it seems much easier than I was told. I really enjoyed the old graphics and even though the game is rusty the atmosphere manages to make up for it.

I created something of a Paladin/Cleric class, with Imperial race.

And yes, I've cheated a little bit by gathering some money and used the forbidden method of powerleveling my Endurance to 100 as soon as possible.

I plan to set game difficulty to max after reaching level 15.

Happens right in the first cave at Seyda Neen when i try to loot the very first bandit i killed. Both pants and shirt throw an error when i move them between inventories, and it eventually leads to a crash. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Free real estate... on Vvardenfell?

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 11:18 AM PDT

I'm currently just about to start my new Morrowind playthrough, and I suddenly realised that NONE of my previous characters had a proper home. Yes, sure, I would dump some stuff in guildhalls that I was a member of and use the guilds' beds, but my characters never OWNED a house, unlike Oblivion or Skyrim, where I would buy a house (or two) in every time I replay them. Sure, an idea of being a wandering outlander is cool, but how do you deal with housing? Do you live in guildhalls, or do you have any other particular methods of settling your characters?

Help with Tamriel Rebuilt and main quest line.

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 04:12 PM PDT

I am currently doing the main questline and must be named Horator by House Telvanni. I have the Tamriel Rebuilt mod installed which adds a few more councillors on the mainland. Everything worked fine, but the final councilor Rilvin Dral doesn't have a dialogue option for naming me horator. Has anybody using TR experienced the same? And does anybody know how to fix it?

    Edit: Name

Daedric Staff only allowing 21 enchantment total?

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 07:24 PM PDT

I killed a Dremora and got my hands on a Daedric Staff, i was excited to fill it up with enchantments, but then i go to a enchanter in the mages guild and it shows that the staff only allows 21 enchantment total. I checked the wiki and it lists Daedric Staff as having 210 enchantment total. Is this a bug?

Best race for a "well rounded" character?

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 12:15 PM PDT

I usually play as a sneaky 1 handed blade weilding character but for my next playthrough I've decided that I want to play a more well rounded character, decent at a bit of everything. What race do you guys think would be best for this style of gameplay?

    Help find a witch

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 11:42 AM PDT

So, I found this Nord, Hlormar, on the way to Balmora from the Bitter Coast, and he said a witch has stolen his axe, and that she was likely located to northwest. I, being dumb as usual, misread it as "northeast", and ended up on Ashlanders territory.

Somehow, I managed to come back to Caldera, but now I don't remember how to get to the location where I found Hlormar, so I can go the right direction this time. Anyone know how can I get there from Caldera?

    Thanks in advance

What unintended ways have you used spells?

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 09:19 AM PDT

I just read a post in which somebody stated that you could shoot a cliffracer with a 1 point levitate spell with a duration of 1 second, and when it wore off it would remove their natural flight, making them plummet to the ground. Somebody then mentioned that giving enemies a 1 point levitate effect will override their natural speed, making them move slower for that duration, which made me think that you could make it an area spell to slow down hordes as a mage.

All this made me curious about how other people have used spells in unintended ways for a beneficial, non-exploit effect (I already know about soul trap glitch).
