Posted: 04 Nov 2020 08:36 PM PST I didn't know Umbra was in this game! I was looking for a mine for the fighters guild and found him by accident, the sword looks so cool! I feel like I need to do a Clavicus Vile playthough, getting Umbra, the Masque and the bitter cup! [link] [comments]

Some noob questions about speed and fatigue. Posted: 04 Nov 2020 08:27 PM PST Note: I'm playing the Xbox GOTY edition on XB1. So I'm new to Morrowind, and while I'm definitely enjoying the experience so far I'm finding that my character moves at a snail's pace. I'm wondering what I can do to improve this. My character is a nord crusader in heavy armor. I can see that, like Oblivion, certain skills improve with usage (my acrobatics and athletics have improved already just by slowly running and jumping everywhere), but I'm not sure what to do about speed. I'm not proficient in anything that utilizes speed. I even took off my armor thinking it might be slowing me down but nothing changed. As for my stamina/fatigue meter, I know what it's for and more or less how it effects certain "dice rolls", but it drains so quickly. I get that when I tilt the thumbstick all the way forward I am technically running and that this drains the meter, but if I let off a little to walk I move at a pace so incredibly slow that it makes me want to stop playing the game. I have to run to feel like I'm getting anywhere but by the time I get where I'm going I'm feeling impatient and have no stamina. If there's a potential threat visible just ahead I've got to walk or stand still while my meter refills so I can be effective in combat. I've spent more time than I'd like just waiting on that meter. Any helpful tips would be deeply appreciated. [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Nov 2020 11:53 AM PST This is my first play through I'm at the part where you unite the 3 houses I've done the telvanni house I'm currently on hallalu (sorry if miss spelled ) I'm just genuinely confused on what to do and where to find the council members (I have the yellow book still confused) [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Nov 2020 12:14 PM PST I reinstalled morrowind after I reset my pc. But I have a problem, whenever I install MGXE the game won't launch. I can go into the launcher, but when I press "play" nothing happens. If I try to directly launch Morrowind through the windows explorer, it tells me that it can't find vcruntime140.dll. I have download all the Visual c++ but it doesn't make a difference. I'm not missing the file, for some reason Morrowind just can't find it. Also whenever I uninstall MGXE the issue goes away. This has never happened before and I have no idea how to fix it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Nov 2020 03:48 PM PST Hi /r/Morrowind, the UESP page for the random scroll leveled list seems to say that all scrolls can drop at player character level 1, but I've seen it written elsewhere on this subreddit and even on other UESP pages that the rarer scrolls such as Windform/Windwalker don't drop until the character is at a higher level. Am I misinterpreting the leveled list, or was this an erroneous fact that everyone just assumed was true? Also, is there a quicker way to see which merchants have random_scroll_all in their inventory than going to the Enchanter page and looking through every single merchant? Edit: similar question about Grand Soul Gems; I see a lot of people saying they don't appear as random loot until level 20, but the l_n_soul gem leveled list says they appear at level 15... Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Nov 2020 08:52 AM PST Greetings fellow N'wahs. I'm currently doing my first Hand-to-hand run (and loving it) I'm running as a h2h mage basically, using blunt weapon or destruction spells when I need to kill something and otherwise relying on illusion/mysticism/alchemy to augment my h2h fighting. It's also been quite fun to rp that every now and then my fledgling monk gets possessed by the spirit of Nerevar which causes him to go on these crazy power-gamey training sprees (felt like a fun way to explain efficient leveling, basically Nerevar forcing him to prepare himself for Dagoth) With that out of the way, if I want to reserve my destruction spells for situations where I'm forced to kill, what's the best way to achieve a knockout on an npc for a long period of time? I've tried knocking them out manually repeatedly but besides 1 time practicing on foryn gilnith (might have been a fluke) most of the time npcs get up within a couple of seconds and I can't end combat with them. Perhaps a drain fatigue and calm spell? If there's any other alternatives that I could achieve at a low level, let me know! Thanks! [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Nov 2020 03:27 PM PST First play through. I'm trying to get past the Kwama warriors to cure blight of the Queen and they are absolutely destroying me. I'm only level 2, is that the issue? Imperial Knight and the Lady birth sign btw [link] [comments] |
