Inspired by a post from a week or two ago, I commissioned my mother to make a glass of the Tribunal. Even without the Daedric script in the corners it still looks fucking sweet.

    Roleplaying as Fargoth

    Posted: 20 Jul 2020 09:06 PM PDT

    Specialization: Stealth

    • he's a sneaky guy so obviously

    Favored Attribute #1: Personality

    • only someone with such a winning personality could win the hearts of so many

    Favored Attribute #2: Agility

    • slugging through the swamps at midnight all while being totally silent takes skill

    Major skill #1: Sneak

    • He's a sneaky guy... what can I say

    Major skill #2: Hand-to-Hand

    • He's may not be trained in the art of war, but mess with Fargoth & he'll give ya what's coming.

    Major skill #3: Unarmored

    • A simple commoner has no need for armor silly.

    Major skill #4: Mercantile

    • Fargoth can get you the best prices around

    Major skill #4: Speechcraft

    • Fargoth is willing to talk to just about anyone about finding his lost ring.. He get's lots of practice

    Minor Skill #1: Athletics

    • Walking & searching everywhere for your ring is exhausting.

    Minor Skill #2: Acrobatics

    • Fargoth never gets stuck in the boggy swamps, despite his small size he's got some skills.

    Minor Skill #3: Alchemy

    • Carrying his big-ass jug everywhere he goes he's obviously a drunk (hence the lost ring) and like all drunks he knows how to mix a good drink.

    Minor Skill #4: Security

    • Only a paranoid security expert like Fargoth would think of hiding gold in a fucking stump.

    Minor Skill #5: Marksman

    • All woodelves are at least a little bit naturally proficient with a bow right?

From town-to-town he wanders, always asking about the latest rumors... hoping someone has some news about is elusive ring of healing.

Wish Lord Fargoth Luck in his Quest.

    Best mods for Necromancy?

    Posted: 21 Jul 2020 12:04 AM PDT

Feel like playing a Necromancer character, but the problem with that is the vanilla "summon skeletons like they're Daedra" never felt right for that kind of character.

So far my choices seem to be Blasphemous Revenants, Dopey Necromancy and Practical Necromancy. Which one of these do you think is the best? Or is there a really good one that I'm missing?

Quality of life fail: FAST TRAVEL and QUEST MARKERS??

    Posted: 20 Jul 2020 11:16 PM PDT

I'm doing my first play through of Morrowind after starting with Oblivion years ago and Skyrim a few years after it came out. Im just now getting into Morrowind. The main quest seemed dull at first, but as I continue on it's getting more interesting.

My biggest gripes with it are the lack of fast travel after discovering locations, and no quest markers.

I know Morrowind was made with exploration in mind, but going to a place for the first time is enough for me. With running sapping stamina like crazy, it's dumb for fast travel to not be implemented. I hate walking everywhere.

The lack of quest marker is starting to get even more irritating the longer I play. If a city I dont recognize is marked on the map then fine, but because this is my first time playing I have no idea where to go if a location within a city is not labeled.

How do you go about playing without these quality of life pieces that Oblivion and Skyrim have that Morrowind does not? I really want to like this game!

    [Modded] no mercantile trainers?

    Posted: 20 Jul 2020 10:40 PM PDT

So i noticed whole balmora has no mercantile trainers, if you check on the wiki there obviously are some but when i talk to them even with high disposition they do not offer merchant training. Pretty obvious this is a mod issue, but mods dont seem to like to disclose all their changes nowadays, so does anyone know which one it is? Im using

    Posted: 20 Jul 2020 06:57 AM PDT

Did anybody else notice how there always seem to be human or elven skulls in the circular sandpit altars of Tribunal Temples? Was there an official lore explanation for their presence there, or does anybody have other theories?

On the Tower and other under-appreciated birthsigns.

    Posted: 20 Jul 2020 10:59 AM PDT

As everyone know, the Tower sign is terrible and should never be picked because the only good choice is Atronach, right?

Now seriously, many argue that the sign is useless because the open lock power is weak and can be fully supplemented by scrolls and spells. And they are right. The real reason to pick the Tower is for the second spell it grants. The "Beggar's nose" is basically three detect spells in one package, allowing you to see all keys/enchantments/animals within pretty large radius. It's really cheap, and spammable. It's incredibly useful for someone who has not memorized the location of every magic item in the game. Of course, it's fully replaceable by custom detect spell, but it's perfectly suited for thieves and warriors who have no magical skills at all and wish to make dungeon delving a little bit more convenient.

What other birthsign do you think gets overlooked or underrated?

[Tamriel Rebuilt] No Sin Goes Unpunished- Help

    Posted: 20 Jul 2020 12:08 PM PDT

    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:Tamriel_Rebuilt/No_Sin_Goes_Unpunished

So I'm on this quest and can finish it just fine. The problem is that even if I do everything exactly right, Laalalvo wont give me new orders despite saying she has them.

    https://i.imgur.com/Ce4j17O.jpg

I don't want to console command a new quest into my journal if I can avoid it but I'm not sure what to do to get these orders. If I can't get the quest because I did a previous quest wrong, the one where you can capture or free slaves, then I can live with that.
