Even with 500+ sanctuary and 100% reflect, Her Hand's Guards can still hit and kill me. What gives? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 12:14 AM PST I just wanted to test this so I used the console to set my Sanctuary stupidly high and gave myself Helseth's ring. Didn't help, these guys still kill me in a few hits. Looks like there's a hardcoded auto-hit limit that cannot be removed by Sanctuary? [link] [comments]
Announcement - Over 1000 New Morrowind Mods Released in 2019! Posted: 24 Dec 2019 04:57 AM PST As the title says, just in time for the holidays, the Morrowind Modding Community has reached a major milestone, releasing more than a thousand mods in a single year for the first time in over a decade! Not since the long-gone days of 2007/2008 has the community produced this much content in such a short amount of time! As of December 23rd, 1009 new Morrowind mods have been released in 2019 by some 357 individual modders, representing a massive amount of growth from past years. Indeed, we, as a community, have soared to vast new heights in 2019, firmly entering a new golden era of Morrowind modding! It's hard to imagine that just five years ago, in 2014, the community was on the decline, with only an estimated 350 mods released that year. But here we are, we've nearly tripled that amount, and the community is growing at a pace not seen since the halcyon days of the mid-2000s! Now for those curious, you can see a breakdown of mod release totals for every month from 2016-2019, as well as yearly estimates for 2015 and 2014 (before we started doing monthly mod tracking), here. This year has really broken a lot of records, not only have more mods been released this year, but also this year's 2019 May Modathon Month Modding Competition became one of the biggest modding competitions in gaming history with 241 mod submissions by 80 different modders, representing a whopping 24% of all mod releases in 2019! You really don't see that kind of community participation for other games like Skyrim or Oblivion! But outside of competitions, there's been a ton of amazing mods released this year, from new gameplay mechanics using breakthroughs with MWSE, to new town overhauls, countless quest mods, new companions, massive landscape overhauls, beautiful graphical replacers, tons of new dungeon mods, not to mention major new releases from Tamriel Rebuilt, OpenMW and Morrowind Rebirth! As we march into a new decade, the future has never been brighter, and with so much more still on the horizon, we only have more to look forward to in 2020! The best games never die, long live Morrowind! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year! Here's to many more mods in 2020! [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Dec 2019 05:11 PM PST I remember that, at least for the Telvanni, you can skip gathering votes for becoming hortator if you're already the head of the House. Could anybody confirm whether you still get the robe in that case? [link] [comments]

'Twas the Night Before Vehkmas - a poem for Fargoth Posted: 24 Dec 2019 08:12 AM PST 'Twas the night before Vehkmas, when all through the Sixth House Not a n'wah was stirring, not even a mouse; The slave tails were hung by the yurt hole with care, In hopes that St. Yagrum soon would be there; The young mer were nestled all snug in their beds; While visions of kwama cuttle danced in their heads; And Caius with shirt off, and I with my sword, Were waiting before skooma left us both floored, When out on the ashlands there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bedroll, tippin' o'er my exquisite limeware platter. Away to the window I flew like a guar, Tore open the shutters and looked 'round all the more. Secunda on the breast of the new-fallen snow, Gave a lustre of blood to objects below, When what to mine eyes did shine bright o'er the glaciers, But a miniature silt strider and eight tiny cliff racers, With a little fat driver so swollen and sick, I knew all at once of enchantments mythopeic. More rapid than slaughterfish his coursers they came, And he whistled, and shouted, "You n'wah are all the same!" "Now, Dagoth! now, Alma! now Sotha and Vivec! On, Jobasha! on, Sugarlips! on, Hasphat and Hainab! To the top of the Fighter's Guild! to the top of the South Wall! Now die fetcher! die fetcher! Die fetcher all!" As leaves that before the wild blight storm fly, When they meet with toggle collisions, levitate to the sky; So up to the yurt top the cliff racers flew With the worn chest full of toys, and St. Yagrum too— And then, in a twinkling, I heard from the East The screeching and cawing of each shrill little beast. As I drew in my head, and was turning around, Out the yurt hole St. Yagrum went splat on the ground. Dressed in colovian fur - corprus had taken his foot, And his centurion legs were tarnished with ash vampire soot; A bundle of loot he had flung on his back, And he looked like the Creeper just opening his pack. His eyes—how they watered! his flesh, how pungent! His cheeks were like ash yams, his nose like a lungfish! His droll little mouth was drawn up like an Imperial bow, And the pustule on his chin was as white as the snow; The stump of a limb he held tight in his teeth, And the smell, it encircled his head like a wreath; He had a broad face and a little round belly That shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of scrib jelly. He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old dwemer, And I laughed when I saw him, if I do remember; A wink of his eye and a twist of his head Soon gave me to know that he was alive and not dead; He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, And filled all the slave tails; then turned with a jerk, And laying his finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, up the yurt hole he rose; He sprang to his strider, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like slick kagouti gristle. But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight— "Happy Vehkmas to all, and to all a red blight!" [link] [comments]
What is the longest playthrough that you have done (in terms of in-game days, not real life days)? Posted: 24 Dec 2019 09:29 AM PST I believe mine is 40ish when I played a Crusader-like character in the Imperial Legion some years ago. [link] [comments]
Beginner's really dumb question about UI mods Posted: 24 Dec 2019 03:58 PM PST It's me again! Thank you everyone who answered my question about race choice. I read the answers a million times, thought about them, but ended up with an Argonian anyway. I don't regret yet... Now though, there is another thing I would like to ask you about. Is there a mod that changes the color of the UI from yellow to something else? I find the interface comfortable to use, but I'm not fully satisfied with the way it looks. Color change is all I really need. Thank you in advance! [link] [comments]

Anyone Morrowind-ing this Christmas? Posted: 24 Dec 2019 02:18 AM PST We all have more important things to think about than this game at Christmas time (in this use, defined as Christmas Eve to Boxing Day), but who is planning to sneak on to the game this holiday? If so, what will you do to celebrate? [link] [comments]
