Exploring the Clockwork City [POSSIBLE SPOILERS]

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 07:15 PM PST

Team SSE's Sotha Sil Expanded, along with Darknut's Greater Dwemer Ruins, are in my opinion two of the best content mods available for making the 'endgames' something to remember. I'm currently working my way through the Clockwork city, and thought I would share some screenshots.

I'm still in the city proper, chugging through some quests; it's a "weekend by weekend" work in progress. Should be done by Christmas!

I'm making Hlormar wine-sot follow me ALL ACROSS Vvardenfell. Sure I'll share the loot, but he keeps on spending it on booze. Whenever he sobers up & goes back to his drinking buddies he'll have incredible stories about adventuring with the Neravarine. Sadly... No one is going to believe him.

    Archaeologists Guild at Morrowind

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 01:47 PM PST

In the Daggerfall Unity, there is a mod called "Archaeologists Guild at Daggerfall Unity" that add a new guild of Archaeologists that consists in looking for discover more of the lore, artifacts etc. Almost a Indiana Jones inside Elder Scrolls. "Their mission is to delve into the history of Tamriel and are interested in all creatures and races who have lived or still live there. The guild is a scholarly one and seeks nether attention, power, or riches, but rather knowledge".

Dude, there is something like that in Morrowind. Would be SICK to have this, don't know why Bethesda doesn't think about it yet, would be a awesome way to explore and learn about the world.

    Paralysis enchantments are op?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 10:09 AM PST

Is it just me or whenever the PC get his/her hands on a weapon with paralysis enchantment the game gets very easy very quick?

I mostly play pure stealth characters and my combat strategy is usually snipe from cover when hidden, and when close strike with a paralysis weapon then proceed to butcher the defenseless enemy with a stronger weapon.

One of the first things I always do in a new game is to get that dwemer jinxsword from the Balmora fighters guild.

Just wondering if it's generally considered broken or not really.

Daggerfall Flashback in Morrowind - Elements of Dungeon Crawling

Daggerfall Flashback in Morrowind - Elements of Dungeon Crawling

As big TES fan of course I tried Daggerfall. It was a great game, but crawling random-generated dungeons searching for quest items was actually a torture for me, although it was one of the game's features.

To my surprise, exploring Ancestral Tombs i found that Developers gave an opportunity to experience Daggerfall Dungeon Crawling Feel once again to ones who are interested.

There are locked doors and chests in almost every tomb. Ordinary players usually lockpick them as they are easy to break in. But carefully looking the interior can reveal a Key to locked doors laying somewhere around! So instead of quickly break and enter one may take a chance and test their patience to find a key themself! For now I've encountered such keys in almost half of tombs i've visited.

Usually the keys are found laying in the sand bone circles, on the floor near the urn podiums and can be revealed using Find Key spell if you tired to search.

This is great thumbs-up feature, a small design detail which makes game deeper!

    Hail TES3 designers!

It is impossible to run into this key unintentionally!

    House mods with book sorters/libraries?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 03:06 PM PST

Can anyone recommend some house mods that have book sorters?

I really love the Varo Manor mod's library, but for this playthrough I'm interested in something new. The only other mods I've seen with this feature are for Tel Uvirith, but that doesn't help me much with this new character.

    Beginners Guide

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 11:00 AM PST

Hello guys, so I have played Oblivion and Skyrim for years and years. To where picking up and playing those games are no challenge at all. However, I've spent more time picking up Morrowind and putting it down after making another character and playing for couple of hours and then stopping. Mainly because I think I don't understand the mechanics for class and race building etc resulting in a difficult time. If there are any tips and beginning fyi's you would be willing to share, that would be amazing. Thanks!

[SPOILER] HELP Larrius Varro tells a little story - Knight/Paladin roleplayp

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 06:07 AM PST

    Dear fellow players,

Recently I started a new playthrough of my favorite game Morrowind and I'm rôle playing as Breton Knight who is following rules of chivalry.

he is followng the imperial law, joining the legion, helping the poor, freeing slaves, etc, being honorable.

One of the rules that I decided were inspired by DanaePlays in her Knight guide - never start a fight first.

I'm the mission Larrius Varro tells a little story he wants me to kill couple of people but they are not aggressive and they are not attacking me.

I'm trying to role play this scenario, how could I, as a honorable knight fighting the crime, punish these people without attacking first?

I'm using Knight class which has speech raft as minor skill... Would taunting be considèred cheating because of the rule that I have or is it fine - Knight who provoked bad person to attack him so he can defend himself.

    What is your opinion?

    Thank you for all feedback.

    Long live Morrowind!

How to fix Almalexia's "warm reflected glory" reward bug?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2019 02:35 AM PST

I am using OpenMW and MPP and it seems like one of her rewards, the one with constant effect Fortify Health 10 pts doesn't work. It only gives you a temporary +10 HP. After you lose it, it's gone forever.

As a workaround I can type "player->sethealth" with a +10 from my maximum health, but I want to make a mod to fix this and have no idea how. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the ability in TES CS, so I don't know what's wrong. It could probably be done with a script but I am a complete noob with that.
