What do you guys think about this?. I've posted this in other elder scroll related sub-reddits. It seems it's pretty far into development. (Discord link if you wish to join) https://discord.gg/kk3JZT

I’m doing a morrowind night permadeath as I haven’t played the game for a bit (like a month), and I feel like spicing things up and want y’all to decide how I should play.

My goal: Beat the main quest

I want y'all to give me some ideas on some weird or unconventional classes or rules I have to abide and play through. Any ideas?

What, in your opinion, is currently the best way to play Morrowind?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 03:23 PM PDT

Morrowind was my first Elder Scrolls game, and with everything going on I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking about revisiting it. How are people playing it these days?

I know there are a lot of texture mods out there, plus combat overhauls and other mechanical changes. What do you like to use?

There were also some remakes in the Oblivion and Skyrim engines that were being worked on for years. Have any of those come far enough to be able to play though most of the game?

    Moving Fast Travel NPCs

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 09:43 PM PDT

So after seeing a couple of the Silt Rider fast travel NPCs barely standing on their platforms, I decided to move them (w/a command human spell) to a safer spot, usually at the base of whichever staircase they're on top of.

Then I decided to move all the boat fast travel NPCs off their docks onto land or onto the boats themselves.

After I finished, I began going back to places and noticed that the boat NPC in Tel Branora had vanished. I assume she fell off and drowned. I had put her on the actual small boat like I've done with a few others because it looks like they're trapped in them and aren't going anywhere. If I remember correctly, she was freaking out when trying to get her on the boat, kept running back to the dock or in the water. The only NPC that acted this way when moving them.

My question is, are the rest of the NPCs that I put on boats safe or will they disappear too? I feel like the large ships are fine. For example the captain on the Arrow in Dagon Fel. But what about the small ships like outside Vivec and Gnaar Mok?

I restarted from an earlier save to move the NPC who vanished in Tel Banora to the shore. Should I move all the others from their respective boats too?

I'm on Xbox One so I cant use console commands or mods.

Does Nerevar know he is Nerevar when he gets off the boat?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 07:33 AM PDT

Was Nerevar just truly reincarnated and just took that long to 'start being Nerevar'. Or does Nerevars consciousness kind of over-ride the existing consciousness of your character after time, where they would originally of been they're own identity.

Like with Dragonborn arc it's kind of like, "Oh, me? The Dragonborn? Wow thats crazy!". But I think it's different because Nerevar WAS a guy. Then he died, now he's a DIFFERENT Looking guy, but the SAME GUY.

Was he not reincarnated with his memory? I'm curious about the lore, and if this isn't an answer to it let's theory craft together and make our own :)

What's the largest amount of gold you've had at any one time?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 03:36 PM PDT

What is the single largest sum of gold you have held in one moment, and how did you acrew such wealth?

I ask because I'm about to attempt my first vampire run, and want to get a bunch of things enchanted before enchanters are off limits, and I want some ideas. Thanks
